My sprint phone won't activate!! Help?!?

I had a lg rumor 2. It broke. I bought a used lg remarq on ebay and I did the whole esn swap and it went through. I refreshed my plan page and it shoes the new phone. But the phone won't work! It won't make calls/texts. And when I try to make calls it says "welcome to Verizon..blah blah". Idk why it's saying this. Maybe the old user used Verizon with a sprint phone?? Should I just wait and see if the phone activates? Thanks!
